Podiatrist Aleide Schaafsma

Aleide Schaafsma studied business administration and political science and worked for years in politics and legal services. Ultimately, her heart turned out to be in the medical sector. The reason for this switch was a positive experience with podiatrist Marije ten Kate.

That is why she started to focus on the study of podiatry at the Fontys Hogeschool in Eindhoven. She has successfully completed this study. She then started working at Voetportaal podotherapists. Aleide has further developed her interest in and knowledge of biomechanics at René Somers (orthomanual doctor) through the two-year specialization training Podotherapist Plus.

Since February 2020, Aleide has been working completely independently under the name PodoPro foot specialists. PodoPro stands for individual attention and professional treatment in accordance with the latest insights in the field.
